Better late than never, right?
Sorry I'm kind of behind schedule with this post, I've just been too busy over the weekend!
So for this update there are a few key things to talk about. Firstly, I went to a karaoke club again last Saturday! It was supposed to be with the Circle, but it got canceled... so I gathered people by myself! We went with 7 people and we sang for 4 hours non-stop! :D 2 people were from my class, 1 I didn't know, and the other 3 were Japanese students. 2 Of those student asked me to practice English with them earlier in the week, which is now turning into a weekly thing! Last week I was joined by 3 other English speakers, this week by 4 different English speakers. So what we do is speak only Japanese for 30 minutes for our benefit, and then English only for another 30 minutes for their benefit :)
Secondly, I've started my aikido trainign in Japan! Last Thursday was my first training, which was very interesting. They do things a lot different than I'm used to XD And last Monday I went again, but was joined by a girl from Germany. It seems we will both be training twice a week from now on ^^ It is kinda nice to not be the only foreigner training :P Like on Thursday, when we were rolling, someone decided to test me! I passed the test with flying coulors, and flying glasses XD But yeah, I'm really happy to be able to train! Even though I will probably have to unlearn quite a lot once I get back home.
Thirdly, I went to a temple last Sunday with Zack, form my dorm. It is only 3 train stops away from Takarazuka! But before we went there, we had PANCAKE LUNCH! :D It was delicious! And the temple was so beautiful! As well as the view! And the hiking trail behind the temple too! Unfortunately our exploration was cut short by rain :( So we will have to go back there some time with better weather!
Fourthly, this coming Saturday I will have a 1 day camp organised by school! So I have that to look forward to as well! :D At school, things are going pretty good so far. They deffinitely know how to keep me off the streets! Kanji is still a bit of a struggle, but I think it will somewhat work out in the end :)
That is really all I can think of right now though. Oh, wait, not true! I missed my 1st Halloween party this month last Monday because I had training. But the 2nd one is this Friday, and it's 1500 yen for all you can eat and drink! :D So I might start camp slightly slowly the next day :P Then there's another party on the 28th and another one on the 30th. But all in good time.
Hope everybody is doing well! Write to you again soon!

Heel leuk om iedere keer je updates te lezen en te zien dat je geen kans krijgt om je te vervelen! Blij ook dat je het zingen een beetje bijhoudt ;)))
Succes met alles (Kanji!) en geniet met volle teugen. Groetjes, Odile
